The cemetery in town is very large and old and is smack-dab in the middle of town (if you can say we have a middle). Shiloh has no true downtown, but I guess Main St. would be it, despite its limited number of businesses. We usually run at night with the kids in the jogging stroller from our house, through the cemetery, and up to the school. Our daughter is always asking to go through there since she loves the stones and trees.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only mom who hoofed it through cemetaries with her kids! Some people have seemed creeped out that we would do such a thing. I think folks on the west coast are less inclined to visit them except for funerals and holidays of remembrance. I'm often doing research in them, but also visit them just for the beauty and serenity.

Welcome to the CDPB community! Your header and page are so attractive. Hope you are having fun with it. I look forward to seeing more of your shots of Shilo.
