I saw this in someone's front yard and loved the look of it. I am not sure if it is a bell and well? It's amazing what you see when you actually stop and look. I've driven by this house many, many times on my way to work and have never noticed this until we were out this morning. I guess it's time to stop and smell the roses more often!

The cemetery in town is very large and old and is smack-dab in the middle of town (if you can say we have a middle). Shiloh has no true downtown, but I guess Main St. would be it, despite its limited number of businesses. We usually run at night with the kids in the jogging stroller from our house, through the cemetery, and up to the school. Our daughter is always asking to go through there since she loves the stones and trees.

Shiloh cornfield
You see lots of scenery like this here, though it is getting smaller each year with the addition of new businesses and subdivisions thanks to the highway interchange. I have always liked the look of fields, growing corn, wheat, beans, whatever. Something about how the rows are planted so uniformly, maybe?
